He said, “The firm stand of Imam had indeed showed us that solution when things become hard is firm stand on the path of Allah (religion). Those who killed him, thought they were done with the religion, without knowing that they have nurtured the religion in a way they had never expected''.

Speaking about Sayyid Abul Fadl Abbas, the Leader explained that he was a helping hand to Imam Hussain (AS) throughout his life. Sayyid Zakzaky recounted the story of how Imam Hussain (AS) gave glad tidings to his father Ameerul Mumeen Ali (AS) when Abul Fadl was born, where the Ameerul Mumeen finally told Imam Husaini that he (Abul Fadl Abbas) was his deputy. Sayyid Zakzaky therefore explained how Abul Fadl had helped Imam Husain (AS) until his last breath.

The Leader also described Imam Zainul Abideen peace be upon him, as the hero of Karbala, under whose eyes everything happened.

He said: “All what had happened in Karbala was done under his eyes, and he was eventually chained and taken away barefooted in the scorching sun of Karbala, all the way to the Yazid’s palace''.

At the end of his speech, the Leader reminded the youths on trials and its culture for whoever stands on the path of Almighty Allah.

He said: “When a trial comes on the path of Almighty, some might persevere and remain steadfast while some cannot. Well, all these heroes of Karbala were tested and they all stayed firm on the path in sacrifice of their lives, that is why they became exemplary for us''.

He said: “We exclusively say that Abul Fadl Abbas is not only a role model for the youth but to the entire community, especially youths in particular. If ever he is remembered for heroism, he should be remembered as a symbol for a youth, so that he stands firm no matter the degree of trials until his last breathe''.
